The Ivory Foundation supported the association Agroécologie et Solidarité for a project aimed at enhancing the lands and practices of farmers in agroecology.
Agroécologie et Solidarité works with farmers who are already engaged in agroforestry practices. The project’s goal is to promote existing agroforestry fields and farmers’ practices to improve their autonomy and living standards while combating desertification.
It also aims to enable rural families to achieve food autonomy and sovereignty by enhancing their skills in agroecology. The identification and valorization of local resources, both food and medicinal, further contribute to environmental conservation through efficient management of natural resources.
The expected results of the project will lead to a significant improvement in the living conditions of rural populations while contributing to the fight against climate change.
