Distribution of tunics and shirts made during sewing training at Levi’s Nek Farm

posted in: Levi's Nek Farm

The eight young trainees in sewing at Levi’s Nek Farm were proud to complete their training by making uniforms for pupils at St Paul’s School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Leribe.

During a warm gathering, each child received a complete outfit, funded by The Ivory Foundation: a tunic and shirt for the girls, and trousers and a shirt for the boys.

Beyond the donation of clothing, this moment represented a moment of solidarity and mutual aid. It recognised the commitment and progress of the young women in their sewing apprenticeship, while offering concrete and useful support to the school’s pupils.
