The Ivory Foundation supports the initiative of “Paris Musées” consisting in encouraging public generally unfamiliar to the cultural offer, to go to museums in Paris, especially children from welfare institutions and adults in the process of learning French.

Since 2015, several child welfare institutions are conducting cultural mediation in the museums of Paris. This support will enable the continuation of these mediation activities in museums throughout the year. And the Child Welfare institution partners will benefit from thematic visits, narrated tours, and artistic workshops in those museums.
Support from The Ivory Foundation will also allow, the establishment of an exhibition touring in several welfare institutions for children. This exhibition will be carried out by a group of young people with the help of a curator of the house of Victor Hugo.
Additionally, The Ivory Foundation supports the actions of Paris Musées in favor of a non-French adults in the process of the learning French. Cernuschi Museum and the house of Victor Hugo welcome the public for visits designed to free speech and increase the autonomy by relying on museum objects.
To go with the tours, a booklet named “Learn French at the Museum” is also being drafted.
